Ranveer is prepping up to play one of the most darkest roles he has ever played! Slb has given him books about evil people through history, such as Hitler, to help him prep for the role, he exercises 3 hours a day and has gone into deep prep for the role

its also being reported ranveer will start filming for padmavati first

i thank slb for giving ranveer the opportunity to play such diverse and strong characters, rs hasn't played the same thing in every one of slb's films, the characters hav been so different, it gives ranveer the opportunity to shine 😊

and credit to ranveer for putting in the hard work, i love how he goes through these complete transformations just for one role, mentally and physically he changes, shows his dedication 😊

I will be rooting for this villain.

This is going to be the performance of the year.

Ranveer in negative role is going to be awesome and one more feather to his cap.

What a portfolio he has already.

Cant wait and still have to wait for a year till this one comes out. Still prefer SLB over any other big director with the same storyline/script struggle.

I just hope that Ranveer wont suffer again any injuries and hope this role doesnt affect him. Seems like he is again full into preparation. Also really happy about Aditi being cast cant wait to hear other casting news cause SLb does a good job with the supporting cast.

apparently khilji had 6 wives and padmavati was ratans 15th wife!

i wonder if slb will mention that in the film or if he will just focus on the one wife for both the male characters

They may show 6 wives of Khilji but not Ratan's 15 wives..may be there will be 2 wives shown

Also apart from 6 wives Khilji was infamous for his 'harem' where he captured women of all sorts. I read a story of how Khilji at one point had sex with his own daughter unknowingly who was used as a revenge pawn by his once tortured wife...I think that's totally fictional and no truth in that. But the story correctly portrayed his lust and voyeurism which he was in-famous for

Yes yes I want it to be out and out villainy.. No sympathetic anti-hero angle like Darr, Bazigar etc...No emotional angle..Like Sholay or 1947 Earth which will go down in the history..Its a life time chance of Ranveer. Hope he makes it
