The sequel will only release in 2017, but this historical drama has already been breaking records. Well, we will tell you how. So when the first part was being made, nobody thought it would change the face of cinema. Nobody thought the movie would go on to become one of highest grossing regional films of all times. At that time, when the makers were trying to sell off the satellite rights, all the versions together cost Rs 45 crore, as per a leading portal. And now look how things have changed. A single version itself cost Rs 45 crore, we are talking about the TN theatrical rights that were snapped at that record breaking amount. And today we got to know, the Hindi version was bought for a whopping Rs 51 crore by a leading channel. This is by far the highest amount for a dubbed film. It's the kind of price channels pay for an original Hindi film. Then another leading distributor has boughts the rights for its distributions in all versions n North America for a whopping Rs 45 crore. The Telugu rights for both parts were snapped at one time by a leading Telugu channel. There was a time, nobody came forward to buy the rights and now it's one of the most coveted satellite rights. everyone wants a piece of the cake, right? So clearly, Baahubali 2 has beaten Baahubali hands down. In fact, according to reports the second part has already raked in Rs 350 crore as part of its pre-release business deals. Of course, the movie has to rake in a much larger collection than its first part, at the BO for it be a profitable venture. Baahubali 2 is all set to be bigger and grander at all levels. Rana Daggubati exclusively revealed to Bollywoodlife how everyone will be blown away by the second part with the visual, the architecture and of course fans will finally know why Katappa killed Bahaubali! That is one driving force behind this sequel. The movie's first look will be unveiled on october 22, only 5 days more to go! The historical drama directed by SS Rajamouli stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty. It's all set for release in April next year. So how excited are you for this sequel?
