This film became a huge success and, no doubt, this director suddenly became famous. So the production house was thrilled to offer a new lease of life to this director. It had been toying with making an official remake of a Hollywood film but had not been able to find a director to do full justice to it.
So the production house roped in the director for the official remake and, overnight, the project became hot property. The leading man, who's going through a lean phase, was also very happy in the knowledge that they had a successful director on board.
Everything was fine. Everyone was happy. But this happiness didn't last long. A few weeks ago, when the director came up with the final script, the actor wasn't one bit pleased with it. Although the actor had allotted dates for this project, he's now assigned them to another director for another project. Let's see what's in store for this official Hollywood remake.

When you make it big in the movies, you can't escape the fact that expectations are going to be sky high - even of relatives you introduce to the industry. So this director, who made his debut 10 years ago, is now a name to reckon with and s working with some of the biggest actors in the industry. When a sibling of his was making his directorial debut, everyone had huge expectations from him - but the film flopped.
Then, another sibling made a film but it's been put on hold by a big production house. This sibling had another film that was yet to be cast but was backed by a reputed production house. Two years down the line, the production house has suddenly decided to opt out of this project. Now, whether either film will ever be made is anybody's guess.
