People are overreacting

Lots of director has castes their muse over and over again..KJo casts SRK/Kajol or VB casts Shahid/PC over, Ritu and SLB casted Ash, Imtiaz has casted Ranbir..so what? it shows the confidence, comfort level

Whatever people here say SLB is a renowned directors with big hits and critical acclaim and grand period movies are not made soon enough..They are almost like one of life time chance..why not grab it

Grr why Deepika? 😕

She's good but for Padma's role they need somebody who's a typical Indian beauty & has got mature face & that old world charm.

Even her Mastani was bland.

Tbh I dont find her suitable for historical characters.

She's perfect as somebody like Piku or Leela.

Not fond of Aish but she has got the looks to play such characters. Even Sonakshi or Aditi Rao Haydri would look more convincing than DP.

Oh well!

Ranveer will rock as Khilji though

Hope SLB doesnt distort history & show Padma & Khilji romancing 😳

Oh Yes! I just forgot that Khilji never meets Padmawati and only sees her image in the mirror...If SLB follows history and the facts in his movie, I'll be saved from the pair again in 1 screen else he will make Padmawati dance like Mastani did for Bajirao and here Khilji...Can't trust SLB's obsession for these 2 actors... 😆
