Yeah I am confused too. Should have gone for Bakrid this year if he didnt want to clash with Salman on Eid. Or even non holiday release. His reasons are not clear as to why he wants this Republic Day date. Its not extraordinarily good date. Its also not fair to other producers who booked the same date earlier.

It has already got negative buzz when they announced that Jan date when already 2 movies were confirmed for that date. Dodging one way clash to go with 3 way clash if total foolish thing to do.

if MD flops then maybe there might b slight chances that even HR might contemplate abt the clash...
