@Briji and BIji-just got back from the movie.wanted to post my review straight away lekin socha pehle aap dono ko pranaam kar loon.while driving back home I was thinking how I asked in several topics if they saw Sultan trailer and no one cared to reply.Only Briji made a separate topic which touched my heart and said I don't like Salman but Sultan trailer was amazing.and BIji replied in that thread saying the same.so thank you,you both were my lucky charms.I really don't care about the money it makes (it just helps doing tit for tat on this forum)but if your favorite's performance touches your heart nothing else matters.I am on an emotional SULTAN high right now,again this is a shout out for Briji and Biji for letting me know that SULTAN looked amazing in the theater(chaahe trailer hi sahi).PEACE AND LOVE❤️

These trade analysts are nothing but clowns. They gave figures like 40cr or 45 cr and some even gave 50cr or 55 cr. Now giving excuses that it was Pre-Eid. On 6th July did they forget it was pre-Eid while giving those figures? Even I without it being my job knew it was not possible to do 40cr plus on Wednesday. That is reserved for the next big ticket movie with a huge superstar which has a solo release on a National Holiday.

For Fan too they said lifetime would be 250cr and for Dilwale 280cr and then when it was nowhere close the same guys trashed the films saying content is the king. As if they didnt know content/WOM is the biggest factor for lifetime.

36 cr plus opening on a weekday !! ( probably much more than 40 cr plus opening on a weekend )

Nobody expected 40cr. Us fans were also in a dilemma if we should believe it or not. Nevertheless its been an earth shattering opening.

If this was eid , this would easily be 45 cr or more.

Thats all that matters.

Most importantly the reviews and word of mouth is incredible.

The collections a movie makes hardly matters to anyone of us, since none of the stars is going to share it with you. If you have paid and watched the movie then you better enjoy it or else you blew up your money for nothing.. The high ticket prices and your time went for a toss. Those who liked it good, since you spent money and had a good time.

The hypocrisy of some members came to light, on one hand you mock and rebuke Salman and next you cheer him up and pay to watch his movie? Why these double standards? Yes, it's still a choice you make. Here the fans are so much better as they stand by supporting him no matter what.

On comparison with SRK movie or AK movie, how does it matter? If you love your star, you love him, right? You are supporting him in everything he does, so why rile up blood for collections? Sultan may be rakes in 500 cr, how does it matter? Some of his movies might have made less than 100 cr, did that make you dislike him? No, so it means the collections do not affect your fanship for him.

There is definitely one thought, will it redeem Salman of any of the wrong doings? Or help him have a change of heart and behaviour? No, the ego will bloat further.

If you are looking at entertainment, take it that way but one cannot escape from values because we are civilised humans in the end.
