Blind:PC trying for Padmavati's role?

This director, who's known for his larger than life films, is all set to make yet another period film. The film has been the talk of the town over its casting. While reports suggest the director has roped in his current favourite heroine, a lil' birdie just told us that another A-list actress has been vying for the lead role.



This actress, who's known equally for her acting chops as she is for her fashion prowess, has been constantly in touch with the filmmaker in question. Even though she knew that the other actress has been confirmed for the project, she decided to tell him point blank that she wanted the film. However, the talented director was sure of his vision and didn't think this actress would fit the bill.

Hollywood queen vying for a role in Bollywood? Nah.. Not happening.. Must be Sanjay's PR, DP's PR or someone who hates her

Didn't PC clearly say that she was in talks with SLB for a long time but she has no time till next March and cannot do any movie until then ! Why would she give an ultimatum for a movie she doesn't even have time for! 😆 And also PC is the one who disclosed that Deepika is confirmed for Padmavati

And wouldn't they mention international projects if they were talking about PC because that's usually how they talk when it's PC!

From what I have heard and read is that Padmavati was an extremely beautiful woman...I don't think that PC fits that bill...I will say...Sonakshi will be the drop dead gorgeous Padmavati with acting chops too...but knowing SLB he will go for DP again..

Neither of the PC or DP fit the bill of Padmavati.
These two while scroaching hot ladies are not exactly the traditional royal beauty (yea this forum overrates DP as hoor pari, but whatever).
Either they need to make a young Aish clone or have someone like that girl from recent Star Plus wala Mahabharata who played Draupadi
