Ranveer & Deepika will not have any scenes together in Padmavati - Page 2

I hope they do not have any scene together and SLB for once remains true to the history !

DP's all pairs got boring.
DP-SRK..3 films.
DP-RK...3 films.
DP-RS..3 films.

I'm truly disappointed.

Ash would have been a MUCH better choice for Padmavati.She may not have the best acting chops but she nails period drama's and I was quite pumped to see Ash-Ranveer pairing, a fresh and new pairing.

And frankly speaking, considering SLB's viewpoint of passionate love being something close to borderline obsession in his movies and his love for DP-RS pairing, this will definitely turn into the King falling deeply in love with Padmavati rather than obsessing over another man's wife to the point of destroying her entire life.

But, SLB doesn't seem like he is ever going to get out of his lucky duo DP-RS. Does he plan on using ONLY these two until his luck runs out?

Did Khilji become obsessed just by seeing Padmavati's reflection?


SLB may make him come back to the palace in disguise and see her bathing with her sakhis..😛

then add a few dream sequences

When was the casting announced? Who is acting as Padmini's husband? He will be the one, who goes with all appreciation at the end. His character is the one who romances Padmini, dies at the end as a tragic hero. Ranveer's role as Khilji will be as good as Mastani's role in BM.

Somehow, Deepika could manage to come out of BM without too much bruise (though everyone appreciated PC, thankfully they did not pan Mastani). Can Ranveer pull out Khilji, where everyone would side with Padmini's husband? If not, it would be his second consecutive wrong choice after Befikre.

Well since it is SLB, people might actually end up liking Khilji LOL
Vicky Kaushal from Masaan is rumored to play Ratan Singh who sure is a great actor.

Instead of distorting history or showing Ranveer-DP romancing in dream scenes it would be better if he would cast Ranveer as Ratan Singh and Vicky as Khilji.
