We can't blame salim for all misdeeds of salman. There are many there in real life who are victim of 'ayaashi' of father. They don't end up becoming criminals.

At least in Muslim bigamy is allowed, whatever salim did was at least legal. Dharmendra just made mockery of marriage, he accepted islam just to get married and then practiced Hindu religion for life time. But still neither sunny or Bobby turned into a criminal.

Infamous case of bonny- shridevi. Bonny dumped roma like a hot potato to be with beautiful shridevi. Arjun didn't become criminal.

I think with salman there were always mental issues which neither he nor anyone from his home cared. He is totally psycho. Forever gone case.

Salma- she's just like any other star wife. Like kajol, gauri, twinkle- she just adjusted with infidelity of salim. She might be a good woman, but she didn't sacrifice anything. She lived with a cheater husband just for herself or for her kids. She can't go and file case on salim, as I said bigamy is legal in Muslim.

Helan- wasn't she a successful actress? Why would any successful woman run behind a married man and father of 4 kids. I will never understand rani, shridevi and Helen type women.

I am not really sure about 70s..don't think many men would have married a girl who played a vamp and danced in skimpy clothes..they might be bajaoing seetis at her dances but taking her home to mom might have been different.I really don't know her story before she married Salim Khan.
