Aamir Khan may have a reputation of being a stickler for details, but not many would know that the superstar is also actively involved in the development of music for his films, unwilling to forego phrases and tunes he is wary of. Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya, who took off to the actor's Panchgani bungalow along with composer Pritam, to craft the music of 'Dangal', reveals that Khan constantly kept them on their toes throughout the weeklong process.

"Aamir sir enjoys the process of music making and wanted to be abreast about the developments. Pritam da and I would jam and make melodies inside the room and he would sit outside. As soon as we would step out, he would ask: Accha gaana bana kya koi," laughs the lyricist.

"He also carefully listens to each line, understanding the logic behind it. If he doesn't agree with something, you cannot get away with it. He will enquire about the logic behind every phrase," says Amitabh, adding that the actor's inputs helped him hone his craft.

While Aamir isn't easily swayed, the lyricist further states: "If he doesn't like something, you can get him to like it. If he likes it in the first hearing, he won't welcome any further changes to it."

Meanwhile, music aficionados have lauded Amitabh's latest work in Karan Johar's romance-drama, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil'. He acknowledges the compliment but says that the best praise came from Johar. "He said, 'Your words gave the soul to my film.' It meant a lot."

Panchgani seems to inspire Aamir Khan. While the soundtrack of Dangal was drafted at his bungalow the music of his upcoming film, Secret Superstar, too was created there. Apparently, Aamir spent weeks with composer Amit Trivedi working on the film's soundtrack at the hill station

It's been just a week when superstar Aamir Khan launched the first song of his movie Dangal' titled as Haanikaarak Baapu' and it has crossed ten million views on youtube. People have appreciated the song and are going gaga over it.

But for wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat, watching Haanikaarak Bapu' was a rather nostalgic experience as it made them relive their childhood days.

Interestingly, Dangal' is based on wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat's who stood against the societal norms and made his daughters Geeta and Babita renowned wrestlers.

The Phogat sisters stated that the song took them down the memory and they enjoy watching it.

"After seeing the song, we literally relived our childhood. We felt all of this is actually happening with us again, our training, the way our father used to shout at us, etc," they said.

Featuring child actors Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar as the protagonists and Aamir Khan as the antagonist, "Haanikaarak Bapu" wittily summarises the training journey of the wrestlers Geeta and Babita Phogat under their staunch father and trainer, Mahavir Singh Phogat.

The song showcases the prolonged rigorous training sessions undergone by Geeta and Babita Phogat on the behest of their father Mahavir Singh Phogat, where they were seen working out hard and facing the wrath of their father, who is shown to be extremely strict with them in their training.

Geeta and Babita also lauded Aamir for his hard work and dedication and asserted that he has replicated Mahavir Singh perfectly on the silver screen.

Dangal' will also feature newcomers Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra who portray adult Geeta and Babita.

Besides, it also stars Sakshi Tanwar as Aamir's onscreen wife.

Jointly produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao & Siddharth Roy Kapur, Dangal' is helmed by Nitesh Tiwari will be hitting the screens on December 23 this year.
