Zoya Akhtar could not woo Hrithik Roshan for her next; she has found an alternative in the Pakistani hottie

Hrithik Roshan was approached to play one of the lead roles in Zoya Akhtar's next, which already has Ranveer Singh on board.

The film, supposedly about Mumbai rappers, interested Duggu. And while he insists he was never offered a film by her, the truth is the idea of doing a two-hero film didn't appeal to him and he turned down the film.

A little birdie tells us that Zoya is now looking to cast Fawad Khan in his place. "She loved Fawad in Kapoor & Sons and decided to work with him right after watching the film. However, she never had him in mind while writing this film. When Hrithik said no, she was in need for a dashing hero who could also act well. Fawad totally fit the bill," our source says.

The source adds, "Zoya has briefed Fawad about the basic premise of the film and the two will meet soon and take their discussion forward."

Fawad's hot property in Bollywood now. He's already replaced Saif Ali Khan in Jugalbandi, and after this, we

can safely call him the replacement hero!

Zoya never learns especially after DDD she should avoid doing movies with a two-hero or ensemble cast. They all want to work with her but turning it down because someone else is in there. She should stick to those who want to work with her no matter what if they like the script.
Would love to see Fawad and RS together but i wished fawad actually for Padmavat with Rs.

zoya lucked out

it is like she was aiming to buy a corolla but ended up getting a mercedes

hrithik is a weak actor..he excels in drama but falls flat on the face in slice of life..proof was ZNMD itself where he was the weakest link despite being given the most prominence

fawad on the other hand is so at ease with displaying vast variety of emotions..something zoya's movies are known for

this would be a killer combo. Bring it on!
