^^ Ummm... Anil Ambani is not just "rich." He is super duper filthy rich!!! His estimated daily income is supposed to be in the field of 100-200C according to the articles I had read a few years ago. Mukesh's is more but that's neither here nor there. No actress ever since Tina Munim has hit Ambani-level & never will. Out of the mainstream actresses I think Ash & PC or even Shilpa Shetty. It's moot point whether they earn it or not b/c after marriage it's all given to them. Like with Raj-Shilpa he gives the money, she, the glamour. Her parents anyway used to make lots of money through those sweatshops/companies they had running for ages. Yuck yuck yuck.


Ash's family invests very wisely in solar plants etc & then they've Panama-type accounts to thank too lol. PC owns tonnes of property all over the country which is sound investment.. Otherwise they're all very rich-extremely rich but Tina Ambani takes the flour, butter, sugar, cake & all bakeries! 😆



Yes very true. The yester- year actresses were so much more restrained than the present generation & didn't really show off either. Sound judgement. The new-age ones esp Kareena should really learn from them. 😆 And contrary to popular opinion the Kapoors aren't BW-rich & invest badly. Only RK has some business sense & is rich now.


Apparently the other Kapoors have very posh apartments in London, Dubai etc & invest well in upcoming painters etc too.

If I remember correctly both Mukesh and Anil Ambani were in the list of world's top 10 billionaires before recession hit in 2008. Both of them hadd net worth over 40 billion usd. Anil lost a forture in that recession.

^^ Yes Anil did but that doesn't mean he isn't super-duper rich now. He is. In their bracket of wealth having a little less doesn't mean much. That's just nit-picking.


@Betty: Thank you but those stories exist even today don't they. I mean from the established actresses pool, the demands for dressing/accessorising luxuriously don't exist. Or existed much less & for certain periods of time like say, a premiere or something. The industry now has become far more professional & 'tighter' as opposed to being run like a family business like it used to be in the olden days. So in that way too, expenditure was much less for the actresses of yore & investments were smarter. But yes I think today too the mainstream top actress's invest very well like Ash, PC etc.


Also the case with Saif is that while he's very rich a lot of it is in the form of heritage assets like his family palaces & the treasures within which he'll be loathe to part with. So I am unaware how much he'll be worth after we put all that away.
