This is so stupid.
Even a child can say there's political agenda behind all this 'cause of the upcoming Punjab elections 😆
Nobody batted an eyelid when 'Aligarh' was banned in Aligarh 😕
This Kashyap himself was fine with his film Black Friday being banned & so many cuts in DevD 🤔
Plus AAP politicians are dumb enough to jump into this matter, cry BJP conspiracy & make things more obvious 😆
Though I do support the outrage against the ban... but not hypocrites like Kashyap.

Censor Board aka Mr Nihlani has mentioned in the cut list letter ( point 12 ) that in the starting of the movie Give the Credit to the Government ( Akali-BJP ) and the State Police that they are doing thier best to fight with drugs

And few years back Mr Nihlani made a Movie for Modi

It is a good excuse that he did not got support of bollywood at that time, its also show the double standards of these bolly people. Anyway i dont have problem with the concept of the movie but i am not too sure how fare it would be and i just cant stand hypcrite people like anurag kashyap.

this has given the film huge hype already. no need for promotions.
punjab govt though are digging their own grave.
censoring the film and trying to influence the board will only bring bad publicity for them in next year election.
And film can still release online without any cuts so akali dal is making their case more weaken here

Also, people saying that Kashyap never had a problem with his films being banned. Read this interview given by him in 2007. He sounds even more blunt here. But obviously, since he was a nobody then. It didn't get wide coverage. Moreover, he wasn't even a teeny bit powerful from any aspect. And I hope everybody knows who was in power during this time. But yeah, people may not like this interview since he sounds very bitter, but that's a different debate.

What an idiot.
A couple of years ago my brother attended a cousin's marriage in a village in Punjab.
He later showed us a video of the dancing at the marriage and told us that half the young men dancing were on drugs.
Badals and the evil Punjab police have destroyed a generation and everyone who supports them deserves a Saddam Hussein like end.

LOL People of punjab does not need to watch Udta punjab to destroye Akali Dal in punjab. Nobody can stop it. BJP need to stay away from Akali Dal if they want some votes in punjab elections.
