Yes, T, all depends on you and audience .Still, somewhere I feel the insiders are given more opportunity than outsiders so they have better chance in making it in statistical way.😊

^^ No denial there obviously but audience is KING & QUEEN. They decide it all. You can keep giving chances & keep working the hardest but if you don't have audience liking/love & luck, which is even more imp, it won't work for you. But yes statistically they've a higher chance of working out b:c they're shoved down our throats so much- But if they do their job well, WHO CAReS whether they're a Kapoor or Napoor.

Ya Kangana is not only rich, but a royal to boot. Lol. But I don't understand why people have such an issue with her wealth or Veer's. Their wealth isn't supporting them or winningg them praise for their huge talent or drawing people to the theatres, LOOLLL. That's ALL their hard work!!! Otherwise all these Richie rich prods/for rectors would've made it huge like them. Nope, it's all their hard work. Their wealth is just an added factor. Good on KR for once keeping her mouth shut, she's not like Mallika Sherawat atleast this way, who claims to be middle class, beaten up etc but I know someone who was friends with her at school & she was at the least, well-off, has a bungalow too at Rohtak which is her family home. KR has never publicised she's rich or royal so that's good. Same goes for Veer who is really rich too.

@bold, I believe the surprise is about the fact that she carefully cultivated an image of "Dirt poor- who fought my way to A-list movie' which gave an erroneous impression of a rags to riches story instead of riches- mild initial discomfort - riches story and another factor is despite coming from a rich, royal family, she doesn't have the aura or the vibe of royalty...

@ blue, no she never did say that she was rich and had a luxurious life , she went to the other extreme and tried to paint herself as the runaway kid living on the road, struggling to eke a living .. I beg to differ on KR and Veer... Veer did not dissimulate but she did

^^ I do agree that it was carefully crafted portrayal which subtly allowed people to gain that impression but she wasn't a Kareena or Mallika, I reckon that's my only point & not the best yard-stick, lol. Lot if people keep talking about Veer & believe he gave such false impressions too so if we talk from that POV, I think they can be equated together in this regard.. Ah lots of so-called royalty do not possess that aura or mannerisms of royalty nowadays unless they come from the foremost Houses. She's rich though & the family has a lovely though ruinous haveli in HP. I love her fight even though I feel she's insane & am willing to give her the benefit of doubt for this. Interesting thing is that while Veer isn't an outsider, his journey definitely has been of one & I feel that's what he refers to when he labels himself an "outsider."

I just mean to state that no amount of wealth or connections can make you BIG in BW like many falsely believe.

I do not know much about Kareen or Mallika - what did they do?

No, Veer is like a chameleon, he would be loud and hyper in front of the flashing bulbs but when the situation warranted he could turn sober/responsible and calm - he knew the etiquette... I guess, if people looked at him superficially, he will come across as a shallow man otherwise there is a sensitive, caring guy dwelling beneath that loud shirts and suits.

I have no idea about royal houses but even a person who is above a certain level in the society behave in a much more refined way... What I believe is that she had a blueprint for her success that required her to model herself in a given way and she is playing that role to the hilt.

The major difference between Veer and Kangana is..while Veer has focused on positives, she has concentrated on the negatives..

MEW: Mallika declared herself a brow-beaten unwanted girl-child from Haryana while Kareena, really? Has only ever spoken more about her family & family name & "Acting is in my genes" Kapoor than the rest of BW put together!!! In that regard, u like that KR kept her mouth shut whatever be the circumstance. Another reason was that she was "disowned" lol by her own family who thought her wanting to be an actress was most shameful.

Oh in no form or manner am a KR supporter, I know & can see enough about her to know that she is a victim playing extremely reprehensible human being, but her rise is extreme admirable- I love fighters, sometimes you've to see the Success, not all the dark & cold shade behind it.

Completely agrees on Veer!!! People completely take him prima-facie which he uses as his trump card. The boy is very cunning & very manipulative. 😉

But also very caring & deeply sensitive- He seems to have a good head on his shoulders so I hope he retains it!
