You had a good point about urban independent educated girls/women who would also, mostly, not prefer a guy who earns less than them or is not as successful as them, if not more. There is a stigma attached to it and we women carry it forward because of fear of being judged and shamed.

believe me when I say it ( genie you know it in details) but even when an urban independant girl does select a guy who earns less and is not as successful as they are, entire universe( read guy's family friends mostly and some of those distant relatives who have nothing else to do but add masala) conspires to break it and bring the girl's spirit down. Its like, okay, good you are successful but your aim in life should be following your hubby. So what you are more secured in Job? still you will have to adjust/quit/change jobs to fit into your husband's scneario even if he is not as stable as you are.

tell you man, Abhi is an anomaly and so is Aish and so are their respective families.

Its actually weird that no where in the article did she say she loves him or she is happy to him as her life partner, someone with whom she can spend her life, care for each other, do things together, have a family and so on. Its very unloving thing like conversation, lineage, 😒😕.
Its more like friendship than love.

RSR - She may have not given this interview herself. Many times , publication send questions and stars send written answers. BigB's PR might have sent replies.

IF PR had sent the replies, they would have ensured that it painted the loving hubby-wife picture were painted thoroughly, I mean they create 'passionate link-ups where there is none...so a situation with all condition being favorable would have made it a cakewalk. But the PR who obviously wud be well versed in the art of wording did not.

It feels like "Brokered-marriage" from her talks and when I say brokered , I don't mean arranged..

MEW - The whole point of this aticle is not to show love of Abhi-Ash,...its to promote Abhi as a cool guy , with lineage and everything else. Its trying to prove that Ash is lucky to have him. Read it once again, with title "Sell Abhi " and you'll get the feel

The objective of the article is to reiterate that all is well in the Bachchan Kingdom and no tension between the Prince regent and his wife...somehow, it does not fulfill that target..

If it was selling Abhi, his father would have done the job and aced it..

Agreed but had she said she loves him or she is best husband she could get, they would have surely written that. See how Saif and Kareena talk about each other.
