What nonsense, who cares if he keeps by his child-bride's side or not.
It's just highly disturbing for some reason that a child is having a child. :/

Trust me its a very big deal in urban India especially considering the strata of society to which she belongs that is middle to upper middle class. There is no one and I mean literally no one that I have ever come across in my entire graduate and post grad college life who was married. As a matter of fact even after our post grads, most of my friends would express surprise if one of our classmates got married soon, before 25 even. I find it shocking cause the environment in which I have grown up, be it family or friends or social circle, no one gets married so soon forget having a child at this age.Hence its a big deal cause I have no personal exposure to this phenomenon of early marriage and child and someone who belongs to the same milieu as me doing this shocks me.

Umm. Marrying at 21-22 isn't a poor people thing...nor does it make you a 'child bride'. Very very common in high society too. Everything depends on the environment you grow up in...what your family thinks and believes/deems acceptable. Mira looks happy. It doesn't look like she was forced into anything. She's young yes but she's of legal age. Maybe they wanted a kid early or maybe it was an accident. I don't really get this disgust or really judgemental attitude about their life.
I know a girl who comes from a pretty rich family...married at 22 to a guy she knew for 3 months (arranged). She's been married for 3 months now and her OWN family, not even her in-laws, is already joking about her having a kid by next year. She wasn't forced into anything...she genuinely liked the guy. BTW, this girl has spent her entire life in USA...right from birth to college. It happens more than we think. Just because we can't imagine ourselves doing the same doesn't mean it's wrong for other people also...especially when they are privileged people of legal age & are capable of making their own decisions.
Abir Gulaal is releasing- do you think it will it work?...
