Even I feel Sri Devi was just excellent in that role, She did it so well. I still love and enjoy watching the movie for Sri Devis acting, For me Divya Bharati is very soft sweet and cute. Not to say such a role will not suit her, But I feel Sri Devi was better for this role.

Having seen the clips ---- I would say *NO* ---!!!!

Like a previous poster mentioned, she looks young and not mature enough to carry out the role in Laadla ---- Sri Devi *NAILED* it ---- Divya still lacked experience and even her dialogue delivery looks more rehearsed in the video --- For Laadla, definitely a No --- Glad Sri Devi played the role ---- Don't think anyone else could have done that role wjth such *ease and finesse* ---!!!

For Mohra, Raveena was great --- But it was a role many could have played including Divya ---- It was sexy, cute, chirpy role, so Divya would have nailed it too ----

But for movies like Laadla, not only her looks but also her lack of experience in the acting department is evident ---- But with time, she would have *blossomed* to such roles ---- !!!!

She was awful in those unfinished Laadla clips so judging by that, no.

Divya was not really a great actor, she would not have done as mucj justice as Sridevi did.

As for Sridevi, she is a terrific actress so I will pick her over Divya Bharati too. But I will also say Divya herself was a very talented actress and would have been one of the greats had she lived.
