I agree with Tinah...all of his recent movies, with the exception of Papanasam have been ego-boosting exercises. Especially Uttama Villain.

some of his movies are really awesome like chachi 420, hey ram, hindustani, sadma, mumbai xpress, etc.

btw why is it called pseudo intellectual? Is it because u don't understand it so u call it pseudo or what?

that movie which was mentioned as pseudo was actually a very simple straight forward movie, not a good movie I might add.

I watched it in tamil which I don't understand but with subtitles. I'm not sure how much is lost in translation specially with comedy movies.

so having said that, where can I watch his movies with subtitles or dubbed ones in hindi?

Most of his best films have already been mentioned..Another favorite of mine is Devar Magan. Anil Kapoor despite being a good actor wasn't half as good as Kamal in the remake..And that get up suited him to the T 😆 There is this other film of his called Mahanadhi..Its an extremely disturbing film cos it dealt with child trafficking but its well written and really gets to you..This guy is so damn talented its sad how self obsessed he has gotten off late and makes such trashy films in the name of great cinema..I cant think of one other actor who can act as well as him, dance as well as him and sing as well as him..Hell, he is a good writer too..No wonder it got to him 😆

agree...he makes those films in the name of international cinema...he is obsessed with that intl appeal 😆...

I like Pushpak, Ek DUje ke liye, and Sadma. Frankly, I find him a bit whiny types so not suitable for strongman roles but then again, haven't seen any of his south films so.
