Exactly Shri!!!

Bewakoofiyan flopped because of Sonam and not because of the director/story

DKD flopped because of Sonam and not because of the director/story

And then comes Neerja:

Sonam will ruin it

Neerja's soul will die again in heaven after being tortured by Sonam

Neerja will BOMB because of Sonam

And when Neerja received all the praises and declared as a super hit:

-It's because of the director/story

-it worked because of REAL NEERJA

I am not against Sonam. I was one of the ones trying to promote Neerja when hardly no one was posting about the film.

After watching it Jim Sarbh stole the show.

The intense and deranged personality he brought in his character gave the movie a lot of its suspense.

People saying she carried the film. She was good but not good as Jim Sarbh the terrorist.

The anger, mood swings, brutality. I was intrigued to know more about this character.

The scene where he was so angry he grabbed the kettle and started slamming it against the wall.

Even the end where he gets shot is intense.

Without him the film would not have been as suspenseful and intense as it was.

Sonam was good but not as good as Jim Sarbh. He should do more films.

Sonam is not taking credit, people have given her the credit for Neerja, just like for all her flops she is given the credit 😛

And about the above comparison with Jim Sarbh - Well Neerja was more calm and composed like the other terrorist, Khalid I think.. It was not like that character of Jim Sarbh, hence Sonam didn't have anger, mood swings or brutality.

Agree with the last line. Jim was superb and should do more movies!👏

@bold - LOL. This totally cracked me up.

But I agree. She has been polite and humble all throughout Neerja Promotions & after movie released. I will give her that.

Have you seen the movie?

take out Jim Sarbh and the movie loses a lot of his suspense.

This is the speciality of this forum. They will find a unknown/less popular person in a film and then praise that person to the skies just to undermine the main star 😆 Yeh yahan ki specialty hai!

That is not true in this case. I have nothing against Sonam.

I watched Neerja recently and was impressed by Jim Sarbh.

Raw talent. Very natural.
