This is probably the best written proposal of all times. Jane Austen is incredible. The way she manages to explain how Darcy cant help but fall for Lizzy despite everything- best love story ever. And Darcy is the man. No fictional character has managed to have the charm or class of Darcy till date. You have so many wannabe versions on TV and other books which pale in comparison. His character was incredible right from the get go when he sets his eyes on her and ridicules her looks to eventually not minding even a brutal rejection. Fitzwilliam Darcy will always be the one guy who truly defines the terms gentleman and chivalry 😆
