R:Exactly what MJB said. And 50L is not pocket change unless you're super-rich. I don't know the bank statements of these people & they're very rich, filthy rich but stars get tonnes of designer stuff for free, holidays for free etc. It's much above normal Richie rich folks. And for love of craft etc. Fame is an aphrodisiac & when you combine it with the mind boggling money & power these actors get, WHO wouldn't want to try their luck!!!! But it's easily the toughest industry to break into.

Okay, Fame is a good reason but no one actually admits they are in it for the Fame do they? They go on about how they came into BW for their passion for acting and etc.

Fame actually is the food for love for somethign Imean you are passionate about something wo'nt you also want people to acknowledge you for that/Many does enter the industry as they love acting but with time the fame money power glamour takes frontseat as its so addictive.

yeah lol i laugh when deepika says stuff like that..that she is here to act etc. she seems so ambitious and competitive!!!!

If Meera has BW aspirations, why would she concieve so soon? I think she was brought up for marriage only. Some families are like that. They would do anything to get their daughter married to a rich groom. The girls in such familes adapt such mentality too. And she could not resist a BW hero.

LOL. Every BW actor has affairs, flings. Just b/c they do, doesn't mean they don't love their wives. It runs parallel for them. It's like how many men tend to cheat on their wives, but also love them? Now combine that with their wealth power & fame. This kind Of money & power totally changes even the best people. SK is nice enough. For being a BW actor. But W*F thinks he won't have affairs, flings.. And yet that doesn't mean he doesn't love his wife.. But doesn't mean he loves her either.

We can't really say they do'nt love acting,any actor cherishes a challenging tough role, critical acclaim, awards.But if they asay they're in it only for the love of acting,it's a big lie.😆

Not exactly but according to Pam C's interview, Yash was pretty much an absentee father during their childhood who was more focused on his movies than remembering anything about his kids so there must be a bit of resentment there.

It's the BW hero here. She's financially comfortable enough to perturbed about husbands wealth... But most people want to marry into the same financial class as theirs.. His fame & career are the magnets here.
