As per the latest developments and prosecution's latest findings, it seems there is more legal hassle in store for Salman. The actor, along with Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre and Tabu, was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' inJodhpur , Rajasthan in 1998 from where they drove to Ghoda Farm in Mathania and later to Ujalia Bhakar where they allegedly killed a black buck. As per the latest findings, the prosecution claims that Salman drove the Maruti gypsy to the spot where the alleged crime took place.
Additional advocate general KL Thakur produced the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report of the tyres of the vehicle which revealed that out of the six samples of tyre treads collected from two different spots, four had matched. As the prosecutor mentioned in court, "A total of six samples of tyre treads had been taken from the spot of the poaching and the vehicle, which was under the custody of the Forest Department."
The prosecution is trying to establish a link between the circumstantial evidence in the case with the statements of key witness Harish Dulani who had mentioned that Salman was guided to Ghoda Farm in Mathania from his hotel in Jodhpur and then to Ujalia Bhakar where they killed the black buck. Salman's team had earlier argued that it did not get an opportunity to cross-examine Dulani and so he is likely to be produced in the next cross-examination.
While Salman was present in the court during the last hearing, the actor was absent this time around. Let's wait and watch if the 'buck' stops here for Salman or brings inmore legal trouble for the actor.
