P: Uhhh the only one in BW who can do justice to Padmini's earth-shattering beauty, IS DP!!! There is no-one who comes close. Even Sonam & Kareena, while both are beautiful, esp Bebo, even they don't come close to that mould of beauty.

The other one is Dia Mirza but Ofc, she is in no way a viable option, she is FAIRY beautiful though!

Diya is gorgeous, but she hasnt done films for quite some years now and I doult SLB will take her.But she would really look good.Aish to me seems the best option,she looked ravishing as Jodha.Anyway rajput attires suit very few girls,and those it suits to increases their beauty to another level.

Those creative liberties he can take. He's so besotted by DP that he would cast her but Ash is a splendid & IMO, best choice! The movie will be Padmini's take reading that article. We've already had BM with DpVeer, why not his evergreen muse Ash, as Padmini?

MJB: She's gorgeous & a very good actress but not a lucrative option at all. When you've a SLB-scale project you've to cast a viable face.

Hmm no, that kind of traditional clothing suits everyone. It's essentially a short top with a long skirt. The point is whether One has a 'Period Face' or not, Ash, DP, Kareena, Dia, Sonam & a couple of others. Dia is out as I said, b/c she isn't economical. Of these, only Ash, DP & Kareena can & Kareena has been in a slump since couple of years.


He has only 2 Faces to choose from & knowing his love for DP it very well could be her... But he's equally in love with Ash & hence she is the best option.


Recently he also has developed a love for PC & even though she was awesome in BM, she really does not have a Period Face.. But knowing her, she'll make me change my mind sooner or later. 😳 But she does not have that beauty that would make a ruthless conqueror obsessed at first glance... So we are back. 😆

I think Aish would be the best option,is there any informations of how old was Padmini?I f not Aish' would be perfect,anyway Padmini was seen by Alauddin few years after she got married, so she can't be that young then. Aish in periodic clothes is so mesmerizing DP I guess she will be good too,but SLB has repeated dp rs so often, that too in two successive films.Diya would've looked very good too. PC wo'nt look like the queen whose beauty was so famous that men became crazy after just hearing songs about her beauty.And she has the perfect marathi look , apt for Kashibai but Padmini was a singhal princess who became rajput queen and existed in sultani era, much much before Kashibai.So not sure about her.
