LOL. You guys need to read it first.

Hilarious. Coz Sonam in her article nowhere mentions industry.

She is saying women are persecuted a lot in this country. COUNTRY.

And if that is the reason one should support someone. Then I am sorry. I do not agree.

I will not support someone based on their Gender. And as for Feminism, it is in your attitude. For me, I do not take bullshit from anyone in life outside IF just coz I am a woman. So I have a right attitude.

She should have kept her mouth fully shut as what she said makes no sense. She is with Hrithik as well as Kangana. Hrithik she has grown up with and Kangana is a woman. Both are no reason for supporting either. If she has no knowledge of the details she should have just said "No comments" Sitting on the fence gives her no credit whatsoever. You do not support a friend if he is in the wrong by virtue of friendship and neither do you support a woman if she is wrong just because of her sex.

Makes no sense whatsoever Miss Kapoor.

That is still not a good enough reason to support someone. And if it is, then Sheena Bora can be supported too since women are persecuted in this country and Sheena is a woman. 😛

You are trying to read a lot between the lines, but there is none. So I think you are should brush up some reading comprehension. 😃

Perhaps according to you. Giving support to those who are disadvantaged or marginalized by any system, country or industry, does matter and appeal to many. I've read your thoughts on this issue in various posts though, you seem to think everyone here is a privileged 15 year old, talking out of their asses and in no position to speak about any of it 😆 I don't know if that kind of thought process is even worth addressing when there are people around posting some intelligent discourse but since you've quoted me...

Do what suits you. Don't support according to gender, keep on with your strong, fearless attitude, don't see anyone telling you not to. Sonam is considering women's marginalization in making an opinion about the issue and her priorities or understanding of life and the world may differ from you. She has put forth her statement, Vidya put out a similar one. Their words deserved to be understood the way they've said them. Dropping reasoning or qualifiers from them and then claiming that people are reading between the lines doesn't reflect well on my initial observation of lacking reading comprehension.

Btw, the industry is part of the country and displays all the same chauvinism and misogyny the rest of India does. Nobody on earth can claim India is an egalitarian country and does not give the benefit of the doubt to the man in any situation.

You can see the same behavior even on this forum in which loads of people even support Aditya Pancholi who would be seen as a predator and abuser in most parts of the world. This would be an open and shut case in more evolved societies.

Also HR fanboys and fangirls have worked it so well where they act like supporting Hrithik is the only outcome if you act like HR and Kangana are genderless entities. 😆

Oh hello. Calm down your horses.

You are questioning Comprehension skills of members who commented on this topic. @red (You can attack members but they can't reply. Then you start crying)

based on what you read.. which is nowhere to be seen in the article.

So, brush up your reading comprehension skills first.
You want to support Sonam, support by all means. Stop diverting the topic just like Kangana. 😆

PS - for your other allegations. I don't even feel the need to answer you. My views are mine and I am gonna stick with it. Privileges members crying on Internet are the last one to represent Feminism to me.

And the usual circus has descended on this thread with their laughing emojis. Poor Sonam, she should have said no comments because how dare she open her mouth and try to present her thought process or reason when asked. How dare she use that f word or say anything at all.

Aah.. the victim drama started for Sonam.

Well some thinks what Sonam said is funny. And so they can laugh.

No one is asking how dare she open her mouth. She can open it. And say whatever. And we can laugh at that.
