My god this forum and logic mind boggles me. He broke the law, period. You do not mercilessly goaround killing endangered species. That is why they are endangered in the 1st place.

@bold: Agree. I should have worded it better. I did say personal opinion, but I meant to say that I think it is morally wrong. Anyways, that's different debate, I mean, the Veg vs. Non-Veg.

As for this case, I agree, killing endangered species is a crime and if he is did so, he is guilty of the same and deserves to be punished.

Legally, killing of endangered species is a crime and so yeah, if he did it, he is guilty of this crime.

Now when I say I appreciate and applaud someone for transforming himself/herself from bad to good, am not saying that we need to overlook their past deeds. "Do the crime, do the time" There's absolutely no second thoughts about this.

But if certain events in your life (be it the most horrific of them) has made you a better person, that's definitely applaud-worthy.

If my kith and kin were killed on purpose, then I would be baying for the murderer's blood too.
If my kith and kin were killed in an accident, I would definitely want them to do the time or in someway pay for their crime. Iss mein koi shaq?

Accident? Knowingly getting behind the wheel while under the influence of alchoal and driving a 2000 pound vehicle is a premediated murder. Also have you heard about the story of Ravindra patel? That guy died a slow death. This was another victim who was a witness that night.

And you think money can bring any of those loved ones back? You cant pay your way out of everything. Come on you are one of the most sane people out here who put some effort into your discussion so you cant be serious right now?

Criminals put on pedestals by the very people who ask where is the government when something goes wrong?
What is the point of having any kind of law? Or is the law only for the poor?
Rich and Famous who "PLAYS" Robin hood Pandey in a movie doesn't fall under any law or is he above law just coz he acts like a savior in movies?

Ofcourse, DUI is a punishable offence. I don't deny that. I do not however believe it can be classified as premeditated - the term in itself means "with an intent to kill".
DUI is more like involuntary manslaughter. Ofcourse, doesn't make it lesser of a crime either way.

Ravindra Patil - now that's a sad story. Unfortunately for him, his own police department didn't stand by him and tactfully isolated him.

Money can never bring back any of our loved ones. Uh uh! When I said "someway pay for their crime", I didn't mean monetarily. I mean, someway punished for their offences, legally or karmically.
