Hello everyone. I don't usually start posts in this forum but I've been thinking about this a lot and thought that it would be interesting to see what everyone else thinks.
This post is not to support or defend Kangana. It is just what I have understood of this situation so far.
When the matter first came out, one thing that struck me was how they seemed to be talking about two different things entirely: Kangana was talking about a relationship - not only the grand proposal but other things - meals eaten together, (i.e. the reference to Reema Kagti's Mr. Chaalu discussed over dinner as people do discuss their day's work with their boyfriend/partner), insecurities about other people and so on.
Hrithik on the other hand was only talking about emails and an imposter. His claim was that he did not even know Kangana that well socially.
What the forensics have established is that no emails were sent from that particular laptop or that particular email id to Kangana. But does that mean that they did not have a relationship at all?
What if they had a fling or a short physical relationship? Based on that, Kangana started to dream of marriage, of entering a different league in terms of relationships as it were. But when she found that it wasn't going to be so, things turned ugly. She started sending crazy emails. Such behaviour is stalker-ish, yes. But quite a few people - men and women - cannot seem to stop themselves from sending "one last message" "one last email" to their ex. Sometimes people get drunk and leave long messages for other people years after they have been in touch. Those emails sounds like that - mad, but wanting a return to earlier closeness.
Because if you look at the articles defending Kangana, you will see a pattern. They all take for granted that there was a physical relationship. They say that she is being punished for breaking a code, she is being punished for speaking out and so on and so forth.
Now, this is where the question of truth comes in. Was there a physical relationship or not? The problem is that Kangana has no proof of one. People say that if it had been a real relationship, she would have things - messages, photos on her phone and so on. I do see that point. It seems very strange that she has no proof that he slept with her.
But then I think about other relationships that a lot of people seem to think happened. What sorts of proof do we have? Blinds, rumours and so on. But there were blinds and rumours on Hrithik Kangana too, weren't there? There are celebrity pictures in Indian media, but only when the two people want to accept the relationship or come out in any way for publicity and so on. It is still rare for Indian paparazzi to take incriminating photos of a couple if they don't want to get caught.
That is why I would say that I still don't know what actually happened. This is not to say that Kangana is a healthy person in any way. None of them are, come to think of it.
