Moreover, I have lived in Kerala for many years and have interacted with lots of friendly chetas and chechis for various chores. Now I guess that should make me a native Malayalam speaker, when fact is I only know a few words/phrases of the language and am not fluent in it.

Lol...Malayalam and Hindi are both different. Mallu is spoken only in Kerala, whereas Hindi is spoken elsewhere...I am from city near Hyderabad, even I can speak Hindi. Hindi is universal language in India, except tamilnadu everyone speaks atleast basic Hindi..whereas not many speaks mallu languageAs you lived in Kerala, I lived in China for 6 years and I speak Mandarin...but I would never agree being a native speaker and If I do a film in Chinese, I would definitely modulate as native though

Asin should definitely be recognised for taking the initiative to learn every language of the film she worked in. Be it Telugu, Tamil or Hindi. Btw she is a malayali. Last I heard she knows 8 languages. And she dubs for every single film of hers. She is da bomb seriously👏 Ash speaking bengali now doesnt seem like a great achievement 😆

When Salman Khan was voted 7th Most Handsome Man by People's magazine in 1997, BBC Network interviewed him....
But also interestingly…when Aditya Dhar said the same thing about 8 hour work shifts last month, again Ranveer agreed with him Such a green flag...
