Baaghi had a very good weekend first weekend as it set weekend highs for the year in many circuits.The share of business coming from single screens is huge. Business in the multiplexes is also good. The premium properties were average but that is a limited audience anyway. The first weekend business of Baaghi is as follows

Friday - 11,75,00,000

Saturday - 11,00,00,000

Sunday - 15,50,00,000

Total - 38,25,00,000

The film set records for the year in Rajasthan, CP Berar, CI, Bihar, Assam, Orissa, Gujarat and Saurashtra. These circuits have seen the figures of films featuring Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar beaten. Gabbar Is Back released exactly one year ago and grossed 38.95 crore nett and Baaghi has beaten that film in mass centres also.

happy for tiger..i have always liked him...he should pick better scripts or else will get monotonous and fade away...he can do great action n dance.. better script will help him to better his acting skills also...

Box Office Opening Weekend: Baaghi Surpasses Entire Week One Collections Of Many Biggies

Baaghi has turned out to be a clean success at the Box Office. The film has collected whopping 15.51 crores on Sunday and now the collections stand at 38.58 crores. With such opening weekend collections, the film has surprised many in the trade who were expecting the Sabbir Khan directed film to collect between 25-28 crore in its first three days.

However, an opening as good as this means that audience is indeed looking forward to newer faces, as long as the content is promising and the promotion/marketing/release apt. In that aspect, the team of Sajid Nadiadwala, Sabbir Khan, Tiger Shroff, Shraddha Kapoor and Sudheer Babu has indeed delivered.

Box Office Opening Weekend: Baaghi Surpasses Entire Week One Collections Of Many Biggies

This can be further seen from the fact that the opening weekend collections of the film are now amongst the best of the lot in 2016:

Fan - 52.35 crore

Airlift - 44.3 crore

Baaghi - 38.58 crore

Kapoor & Sons - 26.35 crore

Ki And Ka - 25.23 crore

Ghayal Once Again - 23.25 crore

Neerja - 22.01 crore

Wazir - 21.01 crore

This isn't all as the film has already surpassed the entire Week One collections of many other biggies:

Baaghi - 38.58 crores

Ki And Ka - 37.57 crore

Neerja - 35.32 crore

Ghayal Once Again - 34.25 crore

Wazir - 30.05 crore

The film is doing well in single screens as well and steady weekdays are expected for it. This one is a clean Hit in the making. After Ki And Ka, the month of April now has another good success to its name in the form of Baaghi.
