difficult to tell... i would place both at equal footing...probably HDDCS a little bit higher because it was his original screenplay... Devdas was just his new interpretation...

Devdas was a bigger hit at the boxoffice while HDDCS was a better movie.

I like both movies. But, some scenes were not that good. Ending of both the movies were suck.

I choose Devdas because it was more emotional. I love intense emotional crying type of movies.

Every body hates Brothers here and I love that movie. I cried bucket 😆

Devdas was a bigger hit!

SRK and Ash looked great together, Madz was lovely as Chandramukhi. Songs were superb! ⭐️

Its tragic last scene was superbly done although the story deviated a bit from original novel, but thats expected in Hindi movies.

HDDCS, 1st half was more entertaining, Ash looked beautiful, songs were good too, ending was horrible with Salman's OTT crying scene! 😆

I watched Devdas because it superstars Shshrukh and Madhuri but I cannot watch it again. Hum Dil de chuke is better movie and I cannot stop watching it though it is partially sad in the end. SLB brings the best in salman.
