I don't think so that he's over but yes he's not the same SRK anymore, his films , his attitude and his looks too are not anymore appealing for a neutral viewer, fans will think the otherwise of course. Moreover the fact that Salman and Aamir dominates the domestic market so well has dented SRK's pull as audience have options now, and even his most iconic thing that's his pairing with Kajol failed to regain the glory.

One good movie and he will be back . His choice of movies has not been good .Too much emphasis on special effects etc than story and his character .

Waiting for Raees , hope that does not disappoints .

I don't think he is over either. What I mean is that the gap has now widen too much be it from box office numbers or acclaimed content between the other two and him. And I do agree with few here that somewhere he has lost his way and the it factor. Maybe it's some vicious cycle he can't seem to break free but he has stumbled a lot and also diverted his attention to other avenues. Though I'm sure he and his 7 generations are secure financial wise the race to be the top dog in Bollywood maybe over for him (something he was always passionate about being number 1).

He is dethroned his pull has gone down in India, India is the main market where your being a superstar/star or flop is decided and Salman Aamir are ruling there. Ranveer gave him a bleeding nose when Dilwale clashed with BM as well.

For someone who was the most obsessed with being number one, the King Khan, the greatest this fall will hurt him very much, he might pretend he is not affected but reality is he is very greatly affected being number 2 or 3 or below will always give him sleepless nights he can own IPL teams and be successful there or do other business ventures to take his mind off his declining position, but what always mattered to him was to be number one, he wanted it much more than the other Khans and to see him in this position now will be killing him every second. I wish he was humble during his success phase, he reminds me of Muhammad Ali that way. Bad mouthing other people now he isnt capable to even talk now. SRK needs to realize arrogance will kill you down with time.

SRK is my favorite actor, but I am one of those people who has been cribbing about the quality of his acting for years starting from Ra One which the actor disappeared for me and the producer took over. FAN is one movie I enjoyed because the reason #1 I like him is the actor.

If he has been dethroned I hope he becomes an Amitabh Bachchan or a Rishi Kapoor who make meaningful cinema in their later years and I will argue their later filmography is better than their earlier ones in terms of quality. An actor is an actor because of the legacy of the roles, not box office. SRK is a producer, he has minted money. If this is the final phase of his career and a new chapter I hope the actor in him that was long buried for years comes out roaring. For me, FAN is one of my all time favorite movies of him. I did not go to the theater and sit through it because of nostalgia, SRK-Kajol or any such thing. So as far as I am concerned it is paisa vasool and if it makes him go back to his roots as in acting, it will be absolutely worth it.

Well i think in last 4,5 years his movie choice went wrong he focused on BO then content i hope his next line up is very good,for his fans like me he is the gteatest actor in world and wil always be

+ 100000000000000000 to whateever u have said.👏...if he is going down by doing amazing work like he did in FAN...so be it...Let him be the next AB Sr in doing meaningful roles...he has done all and seen all...when u are at the top ...u have to come down eventually...and the delusionals who think their favorite has been eating amritful and are not coming down...well it will hurt more because atleast Shahrukh is an amazing actor...the best one after AB Sr right now...and he will keep making good movies (hopefully)...unlike those depending on their looks...because looks will go away...talent won't ...just look at AB Sr😳...I have no shame in admitting that he has come down from numero uno position...everyone will some day...

What goes up must come down BI. From Alexander the greats to the Egyptians to the bush family to everything else in life. Like I said time is your biggest opponent. It's only a matter of time that the other two shall go through this. You can delay, stretch it out it but you can't stop it from happening. Amitabh, Rajesh, Dilip Kumar etc too have gone through this. If I were SRK I would take a bow considering shelf life for his female counterparts is amazingly short so all these big 3 are quite lucky.
