What did you NOT like in the movie Fan IF you watched it already? - Page 5

The predictability!

I knew what is going to happen next, and it happened like that ditto! Even the climax.

Its outright predictable ..I could see everything coming from a distance ..Especially the inevitable climax .

1. It was supposed to be a thriller, it was never one.

Anyone who saw the Trailer knew the whole movie.



2. Guarav 's character development got messed up in the middle . In the opening parts before he meet Aryan, he was really endearing. Those scenes where he did the silly mistakes beating up Sid Kapoor etc etc where funny. But when the time came of his arrest, revenge and all, the screen play and the development of the character was halted. I could not feel the pain and all he felt. This is where SRK failed to make Guarav his best ever role and it was not entirely his fault as it is more of a job of a director than an actor's to direct the character development.

3. The chasing scenes were OTT, and. Nothing new.

4. Aryan was ultimately protrayed as a hero, when he was not one. I know they never wanted to portray him as one, but the sequence did made it look like he was the hero and Gaurav the Villian, which should bever have the case.



Good things :

Gaurav's fanship(if such word exists) towards Ayran. That was brilliant, I admit, it really looked like he deeply loved him. That part of Gaurav was perfectly shown by SRK.

Gaurav dying was a good and logical ending but they failed to execute it. Lets honest Gaurav had only one reason to live, Aryan Khanna, and he lost that reason. I mean the girl whom he supposedly had crush on, he was not even ready to give her five minutes, to that extend he was in love with Aryan Khanna.


Zabra song, which I sadly missed because I was late in the opening credits or it was never played?


No songs and cheesy love dove scenes. Yeah that was a huge plus.


As I already said SRK did his best, but the script abd director failed him. Also people going on how he tried different and all, are forgetting he did not tried anything he knew, he just brought his old tricks.

It stars SRK (the biggest drawback in any movie except swades,Baazigar and chak De) 😆😆

Those action chase scenes they could have edited it. There was already no songs so no needed those 2 hrs & 20 mins

Aww thanks for understanding the question so basically the teaser was the best part is what I understand 😳

The action sequences in the 2nd half could have been cut short a little . Other than that i don't have a complain from the movie , it was one of the best movie i watched in recent times .
And i LOVED the 2nd half of the movie , if the movie didn't the end the way it did , it would have been just another drama flick ! The ending is what that made movie special !

Here Film's most imp turning point when Gaurav enacts like Aryan the superstar, that too overseas not in india, where no one could recognize that it is Gaurav... while in India he was doing it for years & no one confused him with real star😆

I guess Overseas mei Srk film kuch jayda chalti hai toh wahan kuch bhi logic laga do, socha hoga indian audience will accept.....CONTENT Film..... ya sue👏

Audience have given their thumbs down to Gaurav's intro in teaser, his whole make over didn't go down with audience... they would have even ignored it if he would have more thrilling character like Rahul Mehra of Darr... He tried but failed badly...

Manish Sharma can't bring the same magic in Fan which Yash Chopra brought in Darr... WOM is extremely negative for film, now it's sure Critics might have been bribed this time out of desperation...😆
