19 crs film's opening is due to Srk starpower only and that to for a movie like this which didn't had any top actress or had a song in a movie apart from Jabra song.

And after 25+ yrs in industry Khans have earned everyhing they could n their opening for each filam is due to they star power only.

How can any of the Khan's be finished or lose star power now? Whether its SRK or Salman or Aamir. They have been in the industry for half their life and have already achieved so much fame and power that now whatever films they do, good or bad, commercial or unconventional, its just them exploring themselves and offering us entertainment. They aren't in the first 5 years of their career to be over anymore because their careers have lasted almost 3 decades already 😆

Fan isn't a conventional film, forget romance it has no known actor apart from SRK, no song, no usual story. It's a story about an obsessed fan and a star...and about the relation these two share. It isn't for everybody. It isn't a movie a family would go watch like they would watch Kapoor and Sons or Dil Dhadakne do or movies like SRK himself did (KKHH, K3G etc) For a movie that targets a niche it's done really well. You can't be comparing movies like PRDP or PK or Bajrangi even to a movie like fan. If his star power was indeed diminishing then Dilwale wouldn't have earned what it did because even being his fan I can say it didn't deserve to, neither did HNY but they've all earned huge sums.

What are collections anyway. If this movie had cost half of what it does, the movie would already be a super hit because its already crossed a 100 cr worldwide if I am not wrong. But its big budget NICHE movie and cannot have everything.

SRK is an amazing actor, and he doesn't have to always prove it.. but since he was way too comfortable in his skin lately he needed some movies to showcase more than mundane roles and performances. With Fan he's satisfied himself as an actor and also pleased his fans and critics alike, that's more an achievement than 200 cr business, which won't be remembered as much as his act in the movie, which is path breaking and game changing for his career.

Lastly, I recently went through his and many other actors Box office collections. It's only recently that the movies are being judged as good or bad when they enter the 3 digit numbers, but even till 2011 or so no actors movies ever reached that.

When 3rd day which is Sunday for any film is less than 1st day(Friday), you can very well sense as how much star power that big star has left.

I lost interest in his films completely over the last 7 years. He has won me back with FAN.

I am disappointed with YRF though.Yash C must be infuriated wherever he is, such stupidity from YRF camp isn't expected.More than a couple of scenes were just unfathomable.
