I went back and watched this speech again thanks to this teaser 😆

Not that speech 😭. God, it still makes me cry too. He even thanked his in-laws😆 , media and photographers. Jeez. And us too.

It's that video where he touches the pitch one last time. Goosebumps. Very Single Time.

^^ And the way he spoke about Anjali..Its so endearing..On a side note, how dashing did Rahul Dravid look in that video? <3 He looks better than all Indian cricketers combined ( those who are playing right now i mean 😆)

Oh yeah with those glasses, Rahul was looking so cool . Straight from some spy movie. He really is aging well. I know, we haven't had a looker since him. And such class too.

I am glad they have Tony Greig's voice there too. He literally hyped those Sharjah innings like anything.

You made me watch this again! Every time he touches the ground with tears in his eyes I cry like a 5 year old!

I remember my dad not watching his farewell speech till date. When I told him he should. He said Sachin will never retire for me!

I'm sure he doesn't want to cry.

Damn 😆 You know our aunts, uncles, grandparents used to say- hamare zamane me yeh hota tha woh hota tha. You guys have no idea how it was back then..I almost say that to kids these days 🤣That they have no idea how awesome the 90s and 2000s were- Sachin, Dravid, Ricky Ponting, India v Pakistan ( the ones these days are pathetic in comparison), ARR, SRK, Leo, Titanic, DDLJ, Federer (thank god he is still there even if he ain't playing well😆), Back Street Boys, Indipop, walkman, cassettes etc. etc. 😆 This teaser brought back so many memories 😆

Ind vs Pak matches were best back then . So much intensity and passion. Now you don't get that feeling. And there was no sns. Damn those days. I think I used to put a pencil in those cassettes and just spoil them, that was so fun. 90s be best. We had Sachin. 😆
