Sushant Singh Rajput now goes the Dharma way

Actor signs his next, an action film with Karan Johar's production house

Sushant Singh Rajput might not have had a great year in 2015, but things are looking up for him this year. His MS Dhoni teaser was well received and after that, he has Dinesh Vijan's directorial Raabta and Homi Adajania's next. Now, he's also signed Karan Johar's next. It's a dream for every heroine to work with the Yash Raj Films and for every hero to work with Dharma Productions and Sushant can now tick that box on his to-do list as well.

An insider reveals, "Karan and Sushant were in talks for a film together and the discussion has been on for a long time. Either they weren't getting the right script or the dates weren't working out." But now, that problem has been solved and Sushant has given a nod for a film with KJo's banner.

The source adds, "Sushant is bowled over by the script. It's a romantic action film. More like Need for Speed with a lot of car chases and sexy action sequences. Sushant is going to train hard and flaunt a sculpted body for the role." Sushant, who loves high-end cars, was fascinated with the subject from the word go.

So while in Raabta and Homi's next, Sushant will be seen doing martial arts and indulge in hand-to-hand combat, Karan's film will present him like a stylish Dharma hero chasing his love.
