@PM itching? Sounds downmarket?any particular reason u use tht word.. Just asking😉
Anyways idk why someone has to" steal the show".apparently even Ritesh "stole.the show" in EV..apparently Parineeti "stole.the show" in HTP so may I know their latest developments? Anyways as a fan I know he still has to.improve but this was his best work and ppl like First post who are always cribbing praised him...Idk why ppl always have to obviously ignore the positive and focus on the tiny winy negative just to conform to herd mentality..God has given us perspective, maybe use it? PC stole.the show from BM..so? Kangana stole the show in Fashion..so?

Anyways I personally love Fawad so I hope this newly fan following Fawad has on IF continues to make his films perform bcs this forum.is fickle and there are sudden fans who emerge out of nowhere and then vanish..😆

I think he can be a good action hero . Action movies don't need much acting anyway

How I wish this non-actor shows some sportsman spirit and accepted the question on Fawad gracefully. Instead he gave some irrelevant answer. What's wrong in saying yes FK's char did steal the limelight yet everyone was equally vital in the movie. Jealousy won't get him anywhere.
Just ask similar kind of question to Ranveer, and he could teach us how to be generous in appreciating others and win the heart of the audience 😉👍🏼

I dont think Sid said anything offensive at all. If you look at the film reviews, majority of them praised the movie as a whole. Most of the celebs who watched the movie also praised all performances equally. Maybe there is a good chance that Sid didnt come across enough reactions where only Fawad's performance was singled out. Also different people sort of had different favorite characters in the movie, for some it was rishi, for some it was ratna, for some it was fawad and so on...

If anything it is the interviewer trying to get a controversial answer from Sid by asking awkward questions. I think Sid handled it pretty well. He is not putting down Fawad's performance, but rather saying that the movie worked as a whole, which I agree.

@PehchaanK, His answer wasn't irrelevant. You could argue that it was wrong, but not irrelevant. He just said he sees the feedback to the film differently. I really think it was more a case of not thinking quickly on his feet than jealousy or delusion. Throughout the promotions all of them kept reiterating that it was an ensemble film.

Ranveer was asked on KWK if he thinks he would have won best debut had he debuted the same years as Ranbir and his answer was yes. So everyone gets caught in a moment and gives what could be seen as an ungracious response. No one gives perfect answers all the time.

He didn't say anything wrong, but he could have worded it better. Something along the lines of Fawad is a great artist and deserves all the praise would have gone a long way. But at the same time the way the question was worded (assuming both the question and answer is being quoted and reported accurately) could be taken as the interviewer trying to bait him by saying Fawad overshadowed everyone in the film. So his answer could be his way of defending the movie or the entire cast.

I don't think he's being delusional or in denial about anything. His movie did great, barring a handful of exceptions he also got great reviews. I think it's more a case of him enjoying the fact that everything is going great at this point. Overall he's not the most articulate or media savvy person out there. So I won't hold it against him if he doesn't always give the right answers.

You're right the question itself was W*F kind...this is why I wonder how are these people get this job.
Who in their right mind asks someone like that?? They cld've word the question better and so cld he.
But since the beginning was weird i guess he answered the way he cld.
It wld've been nice had he said something nice about Fawad but he didn't say anything wrong either.

Good points everyone! But Sid has actually been a sport throughout despite Fawad getting a lot of adulation for the film. Very few people can be so cool. I have seen actors simply losing it when a costar gets praised.
Coming back the future I think Sid is very interested in fitness and action from what I have seen of him. He can carve a niche there with a few other genre films thrown in.
