Let me remind those who have forgotten...and share with those who are not aware...many extremely famous people in the world today were rejected/failed in their endeavours multiple times before they tasted the fruit of success.

Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, had his first book rejected by 27 different publishers. However, today I'm not sure who doesn't know him or his works.

Marilyn Monroe was told that she wasn't pretty enough and that she was not a good actress but kept nevertheless she kept trying to succeed as an actress by doing small roles and posing for soft-po*n cheesecake advertisment trading cards. Eventually she became successful.

Walt Disney was told that he had no imagination. His first company failed and he ate dog food to survive. He was told by MGM that nobody wanted to see a huge mouse on screen (Mickey Mouse). Walt did not give up and eventually tasted success.

Sir James Dyson, who invented the best-selling vacuum in the United States, developed 5127 prototypes for over 15 years before finally getting it right.

JK Rowling's first Harry Potter novel was rejected 12 times before it was eventually picked up by Barnes & Nobles. Since then, she's been on a roll.

Jay Z could not get any record label to sign him and eventually he sold his first album from the boot of his car. Everyone knows who he is today.

Henry Ford's early businesses left him broke 5 times before he founded the successful Ford Motor company.

R.H. Macy's businesses failed 7 times before his store Macy's became successful.

The Beatles were rejected in the beginning. They were told by studios that their sound was not good. And yet, today they are remembered for exactly the opposite.

Harrison Ford was told by an executive that he'd never succeed in the movie business. Today he is known for all the popular and iconic roles he has encompassed throughout his successful movie career.

There are so many more famous people that failed repeatedly or were rejected repeatedly before they tasted success. The examples I listed above are just a few out of the many hundreds.

My point is, I don't understand the comments of some members here. And if the intention of this blind is to shame Deepika for being rejected by multiple studios then the joke is on them. It is not necessary that Deepika will eventually succeed just because some known famous people succeeded after repeated failure. However, it is important that she tries her best and chases after her dreams. Hey, if anything, at least in the end she will be able to say "at least I tried my best" instead of saying "if only I had tried..."

Therefore, I wish her all the best. May she taste great success wherever she goes. Even if she doesn't, however, I will still be happy that she tried.
