No it won't, in the long run. It may hinder things for some time, but this conversation about power disparity between genders is a conversation that is occurring globally. Hollywood has this problem as well...one woman can make a positive change but if that same woman turns out to be a liar, she simply gets thrown into a category labelled "minority of lying woman". Because it's a fact that majority of woman deal with this power disparity in their professional and personal lives daily. One woman can make a positive difference but if she brings a negative impact then she is simply thrown to the dogs and ignored.

Forget right or wrong no matter what it's usually the powerful men in the industry are supported.

I have been saying that it seems that members don't care what's right or wrong it's about supporting the fact that she's up against powerful industry man.

To me that's wrong reason to support someone.

I'm all for supporting women and women taking a stand but not when they are dishonest/wrong.

None of us know the truth of the situation so it's a bit rich to automatically say Kangana is dishonest while silently implying that Hrithik is a paragon of virtue.

From how things are proceeding, it looks more and more likely that both are liars and muddling the situation by constantly putting out blind source articles through their PR.

If either one was so certain about their own honesty, they would go to court with a real defamation suit. Neither one is keen on doing anything like that because both have enough to hide.

I support Kangana no matter what. I will list the reasons why I support her

1. She is a three times National award winning actress.

2.She is a female

3.She is an outsider in Bollywood dominated by Nepotism.

4.. She is blunt and speaks her mind ( whether that is true or lie).

5. My favorite also supports her.

6. I dislike Hrithik.

I'm all for supporting women and women taking a stand but not when they are dishonest/wrong.

Supporting an individual's right to be able to fight someone else with equal opportunity is much needed whether or NOT that said individual is in the right.

Even if KR is completely in the wrong here, and HR is some innocent victim (which I'm 200% he isn't), KR should still have the right to battle it out with HR without the industry alienating her and henceforth sabotaging her career. Whether a woman is right or wrong, in the end it is she who pays the most, and that is WRONG.

You're free to support whoever you like. I never liked HR (I think he's a slimy cheating arse), and so it angers me that he is using his position of power to silence KR. If he thinks she is wrong, he could have handled it in many ways. But he took advantage of his male privilege to try to control KR.

Neither KR or HR deserve complete support and yet this mess is so complicated that neither can also be made out to be completely innocent.

It was the only explanation that I cld think when I saw how people were applauding her while bashing HR left right and center.

Given they are two sides of the same coin if she is nit worse in this case.

As so many of you have pointed out it would be difficult to prove legal defamation since she oh so carefully avoids using his name openly or stating an actual relationship on the record. Nevertheless, she has waged a relentless assault on his image with the innuendos and blind articles for almost 2 years to the point that most people accepted the relationship as fact. She is where she is because she didn't know when to say enough was enough and walk away. I do not think this will end well for her. She is the BW equivalent of Sean Young, beautiful, talented and making too many enemies (probably because she literally can not help herself).

I also blv they had an affair or a fling whatever we call it.

He didn't wanna own up to it and she wanted more than he was giving.

She had choice and she chose to end it. Understandable.

But then she went after him saying whatnots.

As i mention before I get that she was probably hurt and angry but she kept going till he finally reacted.

Putting everything else aside you can't say he shld've given her what she wanted, it's his choice and his right if he didn't want anything more.

Now if he was married when they get involved they are both cheats and bad people, taking how this mess all started i dont see how Kangy shld be supported or applaud.

They are the same and now it's starting to turn out that she might be worse IMO.

She's everything he's or worse therefore even though a woman she shldnt be supported cuz that might only encourage this kinda behavior.

Well, there you go. She hasn't said anything on record about him or any relationship they had. So what defamation? He might be irritated with innuendos but that's life.

I'm sure Kangana did harass him with a lot of emails. It seems like something loony that she would do. But instead of sitting quietly reading it all and coldly collecting her naked pics for evidence,etc, all he had to do was block it. Or change his email address. Come on.

He was just trying to display his power to her and misjudged that she would leak the whole thing and cause trouble for him. I don't even think he expected any real apology. He was just trying to scare her a little so that she would shut up in the future.

I think both will end up withdrawing their notice and move on. Both have too much other crap to hide to go through an actual legal battle in court. That too in Indian courts where one trial can take years.
