Priyanka Chopra invited for dinner event at the White House

Priyanka Chopra has been invited for the annual White House Correspondents dinner later this month to be attended by President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama.

Besides our PC, Bradley Cooper, Lucy Liu, Jane Fonda and Gladys Knight have also been invited for this event.

However, our source tells us that the actress is yet to confirm her attendance as "Priyanka is shooting for the new season of Quantico and also has a schedule of her maiden Hollywood film Baywatch lined up. Whether she will make it to the White House dinner or not will be clear only next week."

Her schedule is jam packed because of Quantico and Baywatch in April and she has to go back to India for her Padma Shri award ceremony and then back to US for TIME 100 party and a bunch of other things. Hopefully she still goes to this too... would be cool.

I can totally believe she has not confirmed her attendance because she would already hv given her allotted times to Quantico shoots, it is a serial after all, and Baywatch and the things she has to do in India...endorsements Padmashri whatever..

but i hope she manages to squeeze this event in..such a young girl (relatively) to get this honour at the president of the USAs house is like a huge huge honour. And we know its not because she is so and sos spouse or anything but getting it because of her own achievements...

who would hv thought Pee Cees luck would turn so fast and so dramatically?

i remember she came on the tarot card show (Simi garewal) and the tarot leader did say she would do well, she also said Pee cee would marry a strong man in industrial field (I think) hmmm i wonder if this too will be come true...lets wait and watch.!!

the white house correspondants dinner doesnt happen at the white house, it happens in the hilton hotel im pretty sure, and its a press dinner, so theres like hundreds of people there and its hosted by a comedian every year. its kind of like a comedy roast and i mean i know priyanka is achieving a lot and its exciting, but they give tables away to each major channel and press outlet and then those press outlets and channels give seats to whoever they want so most likely cbs invited her and not the white house.
