DID you even understand my argument?

Irfan Nawaz etc are not mainstream stars who have to confine to some IMAGE...They don't endorse multiple brands...Anyway even today I don't think irfan & Nawaz would beat the $h!t outta of mainstream darling like Madhuri!!!

Dare SRK do a similar type of character/role at this age ? Will he ?

At the beginning he was ready to do anything and everything, choice didn't matter.. It wasn't about daring.. It just clicked.. It couldn't have.. But it did.. Good for him.. But if it hadn't, he would anyways be a superstar with DDLJ and none would have remembered this shit.. It's not about how daring he was, it was about struggle.. which is appreciable !

He was only a newbie then...He did it while struggling ..He was ready to do anything then...So I guess we have tonnes of such roles done by newbies since ...Coz u know they too didn't have choice then...Oh wait...Then why do we have all these newbies doing romantic roles??The things u read on this forum...!

He NEVER struggled!!! He never had a decade of flops...or no superstardom till 2008!!!

Shahrukh took a lot of risks back then. Darr, Anjaam, Baazigar were all risky but surprisingly the audience was on shahrukh's side in all these films. Then just when he had started to establish himself as an anti-hero, he did ddlj..another big big risk. He's done fab films like kabhi ha kabhi na and raju ban gaya gentle man.

Who can afford to do films of such different genres today?

A better question to ask is would 'he' dare to do it today?

Actors like KSG etc are doing all kinds of psycho roles simply because they can't choose...Same with SRK...He did anything that came his way...And it worked for him...Good for him...But let us not make it look like he is some supernatural or something...
