Urmila Matondkar turns singer

New Delhi, November 10: Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar has accepted an offer to sing and plans to record her first song next week, a news report said on Friday.

Urmila accepted the offer from noted vocalist Asha Bhonsle to sing a duet on the new album, a daily newspaper said. Asha Bhonsle has lent her voice to songs lip-synched by Matondkar in the popular films Rangeela, and Chamatkar,.

Urmila recently sang a few lines to Asha Bhonsle, who reportedly liked the actress' voice.
