Supposing that Ankita did have alcohol problems, there are ways to deal with it. This is what partners are for, to support you during your lows too. Making it a reason for breakup is not done.

If he thinks she doesnt suit his bolly image anymore, there are better ways of breaking up instead of trying to garner sympathy thro pretentious intellectual tweets and black images. What a dramebaaz!

Ankita picked a loser it seems. A gutless man who cannot even keep his gfs dignity.

Reading all the PR articles makes me conclude that SSR found Ankita a liability to his growth in BW. Very much like Sushmita Sen, Freida Pinto, Deepika etc etc found their respective partners a liability when they started making waves. Only problem was that Ankita was a known personality. Plus I think SSR was serious about her at one point. Thats why the marriage/live in relationship. But as things stand today most of SSR's contemporaries like Ranveer, Ranbir, Sid etc stay in news for their real or fake relationships. Having a TV actress girlfriend is not the same as having say someone like Deepika or Alia or Anushka for a girlfriend. Hence those attempts to push her into films in roles where she would be obviously uncomfortable like HNY, Sultan etc.

Some women despite not being from the industry fit in really well...like Gauri Khan for example. But Ankita seems more comfortable with TV friends. Another liability for SSR who would want to socialize with BW types rather than TV types. SSR attempted the SRK type image initially of being with your first gf since forever and ever. But not everyone can be a SRK especially with career being flat. The breakup now gives his PR freedom to link him up with all the heroines in BW. SSR always came across as a wannabe to me. I am not surprised my first instinct wasnt wrong.

PS: Ankita might also not be happy with SSR being Morani bhabhi toyboy.

PPS: How do people find out so soon when two people unfollow each other?

The articles that have come are one sided yes but how does that even mean that all the things mentioned are wrong ?? Ankita has her PR machinery too...why isn't she answering if the allegations are so baseless ?? Ankita's own stories of arrogance, tantrums, insecurity reported by TV portals inspite of her being a Top TV heroine is not unknown .

Breakups are painful and personal. But the dignity of the individuals involved needs to be preserved. SSR has failed to respect that.

This is such a HUGE shock! I have no idea how to react to all this!

I have always more than adored Sushita. To me, they were a forever couple. This was one couple that I thought would have a "happily- ever after" ending. They always seemed so much in love and unbreakable. This is such a bitter ending to their fairytale love story!

Their break up is not bothering me as much as the ugly way it is being handled by Sushant. It is alright if he wants to part ways but atleast show some respect towards the once cherished relationship. I strongly believe that the articles are the work of his PR. I understand that Sushant is heart broken but he is not that naive to not know how Ankita's image is being maligned by the media. Why isn't he doing anything about it? What is bothering me is that how can he do this to the only person who has stood by him through thick and thin?!
It is alright if you want to move on alone but atleast don't do this to the person who loves you so much! How can he so cruel? How can he not react?

Sushant has changed so much! He is totally a different person now- a desperate and sly wannabe.

I feel very bad for Ankita. He is the one in Bollywood. He is the one with work. She is the one sitting at home. He is the one with an over enthusiastic PR. He is the one with contacts. She can't handle the media. He is in a far far better position than her and he is using this position in the cheapest and dirtiest manner possible! Chee!

I hope Ankita gets over this soon. I hope she realises how cruel he has been to her. I hope she doesn't get back to him. I hope she realises that he is not worth so much of her love and devotion. I hope she stops loving this asshole.

I have lost all respect for Sushant. Shame on you man! Released this news a day before flying off to Croatia so that you can avoid the media by giving the "kaam mein dooba hua" excuse and leaving poor Ankita here to face all this shit and handle it all alone. What a coward! Very calculated move by him and his PR, I must say. Perfect timing!

His Twitter and Instagram posts make me hate him all the more. He has the time to be all over dramatic about the break up and garner sympathy from his fans but he doesn't have the time to post a Tweet to stop the image assassination of Ankita! Wow! So much love and concern! *slow claps*
