From what i see, she has what it takes to be the next superstar, especially as DP is moving towards Hollywood. She has an enormous amount of popularity and goodwill, people just like her instinctively, her on-screen as well as off-screen persona brings a smile to the face. She has that old-world innocence. Yes, she is a little awkward, but that adds to her charm.
She REALLY needs to work on her acting, and is way behind Anushka, Sonakshi, Parineeti and even Alia. But from what I see n hear, she is more popular than Alia. girls also like her just like they like DP - and that is crucial to an actress'survival, I feel. There are actresses like Aishwarya,Katrina and Alia, who enjoy popularity among males, but not so much among women. Shraddha has the girl-next-door vibe, which makes her popular among both genders. Also, she is really, really pretty.
I have a feeling she is the only one who has what it takes to be a superstar and be DP's succesor. But the main challenge is her acting skill,s the lack of acting chops, getting the pitch correct. If she manages to work on these three aspects, she can easily triumph over Kangana and Anushka and Snam, all of hom are decnt actors, but lack popularity.
