I was actually looking at Kapoor and Sons. Then I clicked on Sidhart and saw how virtually every film he has done is produced by Karan Johar. Why?

Then I clicked on Fawad to see who are his producers. Quite a few pakistani films and then I saw he is playing Virat Kholi.

This can only be answered by the actor himself. He has 3 films in his bw profile till date, one with Anil kapoor production and 2 with Dharma. Dont think its enough time to get conclusive about why this and when it will change. Moreover Fawad works very less , the reasons best known to him and thats pattern even for his television career graph too. His healthb issues might be a reason for him to work on a single project at a time, which in turn curtails his chances of doing diff films with diff ph. Moreover he only works with people with whom he has good rapoort with, comfortable workspace ( both in pak and India) thats how he works with certain set priorities, quantity is not one of those fortunate or unfortunately. These reasons may not be enough to put full stop to your queries though, but just my take on your question.
