Arijit Singh charges Rs 1.5 crore for a live performance

Arijit Singh, who is presently ruling Bollywood charts, seems to be making the most of his popularity as far as live concerts are concerned. If sources are to be believed, the 28-year-old has increased his fee for stage performances by over three times " apparently, he used to charge anywhere between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 50 lakh last year, but now asks for Rs 1-1.5crore per gig.

Says a source, "Arijit is the hottest pick in the events circuit at the moment and is flooded with requests from across the globe. So, now, he has raised his remuneration to nearly Rs 1.5 crore for a 45 minute to one hour performance. No other A-list singer demands so much money."

Insiders in the music industry reveal that big names like Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Mika Singh and Ankit Tiwari charge Rs 40-50 lakh. "And here you have Arijit who is asking for remuneration matching that of an A-list actor," says an event organiser requesting anonymity.

Calling his revised fee as "insane", another city-based organiser says, "Though there are some who are ready to pay that much for one performance, Arijit needs to understand that it's a bad managerial call since new singers emerge every other day."

Arijit remained unavailable for comment.

And so bakwaas performance.the Dubai concert was such a let down.even Indians were saying that Atif and sonu nigam concert are more fun and energetic. Arijit no doubt songs are good but ek chair per aakar Jo bhetha bus ek hi jhaga bhethe Saare songs gaa diye.logon ko sula diya.even udit/kumar sanu/kk concerts are fun 👏

Good let him. because in a few year he will be out of work so its good he earns as much as he can.

Sonu is only singer in Asia who can sing live better then wht he sing for studios😉udit / shanu are also learned singers though they are not up to the mark of sonu level in live singing still they have nostalgia of their songs which attract listeners...atif aslam goes out of key many times ...arijit is his brother lol voice wise they only go loud😆but arijit as a singer is more capable then aslam

Sonu nigam concerts are so fun filling even Atif ppl go crazy however he's not like Arijit. But dubaites go crazy if they hear Atif or Sonu ate performing. There merged concert was so good.yes,I agree Atif is no where near Arijit but Arijit is zero in concert performance ppl were literally pinching themselves why did they bought tickets of his concert.
After sonu and Atif,kk is so good in live performance.Arijit Tu if u can't sleep and ur tranquil tablets are finished then go for arijit concert 🥱 ppl were screaming on organizers

He is pretty good when he comes here at bengal to perform though😆maybe cause its hoemtown so there's a comfort and he also sings bengali songs to the audience's appreciation.But yeah i do think he does'nt use the stage very much, which is very much needed for a concert.He himself even said in a interview he hates doing concerts as he can't dance around and he does'nt understand why people pay so much to hear him singing the same songs when they can hear it better in ipod or tv.😆😆I was like😕But love love sonu's concerts, he is so energetic and his voice isand then there's his adorable son making appearaces sometimes.😳

Never been to a shreya concertreally want to go oneday. Actually a concert has to be energetic,there should also be some soft songs,some emotional speeches , the singer should give some performances sitting and intensely too depending on songs.But all intense and slow is boring, just like all boom boom pains your ears. Sonu balances it very well.
