Why does TV stars Debut Movie go flop ? -_-

There are many non tv actors who's first movie was not hit

Sid, Varun, alia- SOTY was not clean hit

Sonam and Ranbir- saawarya was a disaster

Ranveer Singh - BBB was not clean hit

Sooraj Pancholi and Aathya Shetty- Flop debut

On other side tv actors like sushant, prachi, Vidya got clean hit.

If you are talking about someone non talented like ksg, barun and gurmeet, they started flying high after doing youth Base flop show. They have no talent and zero idea about script. In their entire journey of TV, they have just cought flying dupatta of girls, broke bangles, twisted arms, banged girls with wall and manhandled their heroines. They didn't care to attempt something else except manhandling girls.

Someone like Rajeev khandelwal and Fawad Khan are real talent. Sad! Rajeev never got an opportunity from big producers.

wow what do you mean by clean hit ?

SOTY was a hit movie and so was BBB ! Obviously you can not expect them to earn like the Khan movies . And the topic was not based on them . We are talking about tv stars .

And please don't bash any actor . If you don't like them does not mean you bash them . And let me tell you whatever the actor did was actually liked by the audience right!

Because those films are highly unappealing (except Khoobsurat, I kinda liked that movie as well as Fawad in it and I don't think it was a flop). I am a Sobti fan but I had no urge to watch his debut film.

Leave the online fans aside, they're a very small portion of the total TV-watching and movie-going audience. The regular people don't follow these TV actors to just about any project whether on small screen or the celluloid. They need to feel interested in 'what' they are going to watch rather than 'who' they are going to watch. As popular as these names you mentioned are, they are no Khan or Akshay Kumar or Hrithik Roshan whose popularity will necessarily translate into numbers regardless of content.

Look at the PH/directors/co actors of the hit ones and the flop ones. I don't think anyone knows about MAMR other than the folks who follow him. It had such a low scale promotion and released in very very few theatres. Besides a movie must have good storyline, direction, screenplay, content and you got to be lucky as well.

Personally I found MAMR a decent chick flick but the direction and screenplay were really really bad.
