Colors scraps Dharmendra's praise for Kapil on 'Comedy Nights Live'

The fallout with Colors channel made Kapil Sharma wind up 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' after 3 successful years. The issues between channel and Kapil do not seem to end.

Soon after CNWK went off-air, Krushna Abhishek's 'Comedy Nights Live' replaced the show. 'Comedy Nights Live' recently invited Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol as celebrity guests on the show.


While the episode was being shot, Colors TV chopped off certain parts of the shoot where Dharmendra praised Kapil Sharma and his team. The veteran actor has been on Kapil's show many times. Dharmendra went on to mention that he missed Kapil Sharma and his team's act. The channel did not air those portions as it would have been unfair to Krushna's team.

According to sources, surprisingly, Dharmendra was unaware of Colors and Kapil's fallout. He shot assuming that it was 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' but realized that it has been replaced with another new show.

Also, according to an online entertainment portal, after shooting for 'Comedy Nights Live', Dharmendra called up Kapil to tell him how much he missed him on the show.
