They are the voice of the nation, the dictators of the nation. They create false evidence, they label who is criminal, they decide who gets to have point of view, and they decide which soldier's death is of prominent importance as per the current political uproar.. and they also only care about whats happening in Delhi.. Thats journalism these days. Back then it was just about reporting the actual news. Today its about creating the most dramatic non ficttion fabricated story and making mockery of real issues.

Indian Media is a joke! I have stopped watching news channels these days! They fabricate stories and publish news according to their whims and fancies. Very very atrocious!

It's a mess for sure. The best resolution would be to allow only Indian owned media houses to govern (we get rid of most miscreants channels this way) and Ofcourse to let people decide which news channels they would like to omit. The problem is all these news channels are free and so they fight for sensationalism to keep their competitive edge and we suffer due to that.

The name PRESSTITUTES given to them was by an Army Officer...that says a lot about the way the media works today.

It's the same in the US too... Americans' trust in media is at historical low according to recent surveys...
65% say they don't trust the news media and believe it impacts the country negatively

I think the 24 hr news cycle on TV which started during the 90s (CNN started this trend) is largely respobsible for this
