Its a mess everywhere including small developed countries like NZ. Journalists are at the bottom of "trust and confidence in occupation" survey lists with @20% with MPs, Local politicians and Lawyers @ 30%. The Police are at 80%, Doctors/nurses at 90% and Fire and Ambulance service at 95%.
So there U go! Journos r even more hated than politicians hahaha.
But at least in democracy we come to know the other sides of a story one way or another. Just imagine how would it be like in some countries where govt. censor the media.
Print media used to good when India had only one TV channel DD. Those DD news were nothing but what PM did today... and it was mostly Congress back then. Now, we have another extream with so many channels and some 24/7. No choice to too many, bhugto! 😆
