Sorry your brother must be really dumb because I know a student who is studying there right now and he is the dumbest fellow you will ever come across.

I know a guy who had worked for McKinsey(USA), had toured 3rd world countries helping poor people, been volcano trekking, stellar recommendations and transcript. He failed to get into Havard. Now thats tough.

😆 that actually cracked me up!! Well I still disagree that its like anyother UK university..

In year 2011, it was ranked at 25th in the world... Well in any case I got admission there bcs I was obsessed with Computational Maths and the research of Nick Higham, who is a big gun in Numerical Analysis Group! (and I scored lowest in his subject even after spending sleepless nights) I am not sure about MBS but I know about the quality of education there in School of Mathematics, the illustrious Alan Turing Building!
In the 2014 Research Excellence Framework (REF) an impressive 83% of research activity by UoM was rated world-leading' or internationally excellent', confirming Manchester as one of the UK's top research institutions.

In an employability ranking published by Emerging, where CEOs and chairmen were asked to select the top universities which they recruited from, Manchester placed 25th in the world and 7th nationally. The Global Employability University Ranking conducted by THE places Manchester at 27th world-wide and 10th in Europe, ahead of academic powerhouses such as Cornell, UPenn and LSE.

Granted Manchester Uni is no Ivy league equivalent but not easy to get into, they usually ask for AAB.
People are making it out as if she went to Nottingham Trent like Varun. Not that it matters here, you could get a 2:1/1st from somewhere like Nottingham Trent/Middlesex Uni and still get on a grad scheme over someone who got a 2:2 from the Russell Group of universities.

Well I actually thought Nottingham is lower than UoM in ranking... I must look in to their PhD programs as they are offering some interesting projects in Maths 😆

I said Nottingham Trent, believe me there is a huge difference. 😆 Nottingham ranks much higher (not as high as Manchester) than Nottingham Trent (which people use as a last resort in clearing), that's why I don't get why Varun wasted 30 grand to go there.

I still find her fat.
Though chubby suits her. She need not worry about her weight!
