@ Bold so true...I know so many ordinary kids who applied and got in there just cause they did not want to compete in the shark pool that CAT is.

P.S. In Pari's defence, she did come into the job market during the recession so the jobs had already dried up.

Agree. And with every passing year, the competition only gets worse. Downright crazy! 😆

I graduated in Mathematics from University of Manchester, admission is not that easy as everyone here is making it out to be 😆 It has world's best faculty of Numerical Analysis and the first computer was made there. On the other side my brother failed to secure a position at MBS (Manchester Business School) even though he was self funded and he graduated from Salford University. Both of us had applied together 😳 ah the good old memories!

@ Bold...no she isn't.

She got her degree from Manchester Business School, which is not that exceptional. In all of Bollywood I think Ameesha is probably the most accomplished with regards to her educational achievements.😆

Sushant Singh Rajput- He was the national Olympiad winner in Physics. He has cleared 11 national engineering exams, including the Indian School of Mines at Dhanbad, but wanted to stay in Delhi for Barry John's theatre and Shiamak Davar's dance classes. He was qualified for a scholarship and secured a rank of 7 at the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) 2003. He also tried for IIT entrance test. However later, he dropped out after a couple of years, to follow his dreams of joining the glamour industry.
^^ Such a bright student but then Bollywood happened.

She really has so many options to choose from.. Even if she decides to leave BW behind, she would do well if she goes for her Masters degree (she was just an undergraduate student at MBS) since her CV will be unique..
Ps. I really don't see her trying for a job in investment banking or anything, most likely she will do the usual - interiors, fashion, restaurant or production/direction

I have studied and worked for sometime in UK. I very well know MBS because we had few friends there. The university is like any other UK university. Its really no challenge getting into any UK business school for that matter apart from 2 or 3 and MBS is not one of them. Sorry your brother must be really dumb because I know a student who is studying there right now and he is the dumbest fellow you will ever come across.

I know a guy who had worked for McKinsey(USA), had toured 3rd world countries helping poor people, been volcano trekking, stellar recommendations and transcript. He failed to get into Havard. Now thats tough.
